I helped the City of Rock Island organize data for the lead water lines. Once that was done, I was involved in the public outreach. I did case studies of other cities in the US who had already informed the public and I helped create materials to educate the public about the safety and concerns of lead pipes and how the city planned to tackle the problem.

I worked with a team of 3 other developers in designing and launching a Computer Aided Design software. I improved the efficiency of the design process by leading research into user needs, wireframing and testing prototypes, and communicating findings with my team members. I provided regular feedback throughout the design and development process using Discord and Scrum Standups. I increased usability in designs through user research and feedback throughout the iterative process of development.

I worked with local business owners to design their websites. I presented client needs to the design team and communicated between the design and development team to achieve the client's needs.
